The New Orleans Saints are arguably the best team in the NFL while coming within mere inches of reaching the Super Bowl in each of the last two seasons. While the Saints offense is always one of the most talked about united in the entire league due to the continued presence of veteran quarterback Drew Brees, veteran defensive lineman Cameron Jordan is now trying to get some folks to acknowledge the team's defense.

With Pro Football Focus most definitely taking notice, the statistic-heavy entity recently released quite the interesting statistic in terms of Jordan's production.

The 29-year-old defender has notably spent his entire NFL playing career in New Orleans as a member of the Saints. Playing his collegiate football for the Cal Golden Bears, Jordan was then selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft en route to coming off the board at No. 24 overall.

Never missing a regular season game during his time atop the highest level, Jordan has infamously appeared in all 16 regular season games between 2011 and 2018. Throughout his 128 regular season appearances as a professional pass rusher, the veteran defensive lineman has recorded 71.5 sacks in all — 25 of which have come across the last two seasons.

Last season, and in what could be a similar situation come 2019-20, the Saints were forced to compete against the surging Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game. With the Rams ultimately moving on to Super Bowl LIII due to a blown call by the officials, the Saints were sent home with hopes of returning to the top of the NFL in 2019.
