New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara was arrested in Las Vegas following the league's Pro Bowl on Sunday. Kamara's arrest was allegedly due to “battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.” On Monday, shocking new details emerged on Kamara's arrest, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Per Rapoport and the Las Vegas Police Department, Saints star Alvin Kamara and three of his friends reportedly got into a fight with a man in an elevator. Kamara allegedly put his hand on the man, who shoved it off — and then a fight ensued.

The Saints star punched the man several times and fractured his orbital bone, among other physical damage sustained in the fight.

The man was then knocked unconscious by Kamara and his friends, who allegedly proceeded to kick the man before they left.

More details will undoubtedly emerge about the situation, though it's difficult to look at Kamara — who has never given any reason to believe he was capable of such an incident — in a good light given these details. However, the Saints and the sports world will have to wait to hear the full story to reserve judgement.
