The Seattle Seahawks were handed another big blow on Sunday Night Football with linebacker Mychal Kendricks being believed to have suffered a torn ACL, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Kendricks was beaten for a big gain by fullback Kyle Juszczyk and after the play, it was clear he was in discomfort. Soon after, he headed to the locker room and didn't return to the game. This is the latest injury that is going to have a big effect on the Seahawks as they head on the road for Wild Card weekend to take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Seahawks game on Sunday night came all the way down to the final seconds, and a delay of game penalty really hurt their chances. After the game Seahawks coach, Pete Carroll said it all came down to a miscommunication.

“Yeah, we were in no backs the play before,” Carroll told reporters via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. “And we called the personnel and just didn’t get it communicated with the backs, and we were just late. We were late getting in there, and we just didn’t get it done. We didn’t function playing, sometimes you can relax like that’s a timeout, on the sideline, it felt like that’s what happened. We didn’t get the substitution done properly, and we were late, and there wasn’t enough time to get the play off.”

If the Seahawks want to beat the Eagles it's going to be crucial that backups continue to step up and try to fill some of the voids.
