Seattle Seahawks superstar quarterback Russell Wilson entered his team's Week 3 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys as the frontrunner to become the 2020 NFL MVP. With the Seahawks taking down the Cowboys by the score of 38-31 on Sunday afternoon, Wilson remains at the top of such a list after stringing together yet another memorable performance.

Not only that, but Wilson is producing at an unprecedented clip at the moment — especially in terms of passing touchdowns. Through the first three weeks of the 2020-21 regular season, Wilson has tallied a whopping 14 passing touchdowns while the rest of the NFC West quarterbacks combined have put up the same number of scores through the air.

After starting the year with a handful of touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons, Wilson then registered another four scores via the passing game in Week 2 against the New England Patriots. On Sunday afternoon against the aforementioned Cowboys, Wilson added another five passing touchdowns, one of which one the game for Seattle. Wilson most notably connected with second-year Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf in the final minutes of regulation against Dallas as Seattle managed to pull off the seven-point win at home.

Now a perfect 3-0 on the season with Week 4 looming, the Seahawks have a full game lead on the rest of the NFC West division with the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals all sitting at 2-1 on the year after Week 3. While the 49ers are currently on a two-game winning streak, both the Rams and Cardinals suffered their first losses of the 2020-21 regular season in Week 3.
