Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is in the midst of the best season of his career, and the reason why may be due to one key attribute in particular: his ability to make plays under pressure.

According to Pro Football Focus, Wilson has been the best signal-caller in the league when facing defensive pressure this season.

Due to Wilson's ability to move around in and out of the pocket, this doesn't come as too big of a surprise, as Wilson possesses the athletic ability to evade defenders and make plays on the run.

However, this is still an incredible accomplishment on the part of Wilson, as it says something about a quarterback to be able to effectively throw the ball when being chased down by the opposing defense.

Overall this season, Wilson has thrown for 3,296 yards, 34 touchdowns, and six interceptions while completing 66 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 112.7.

The 30-year-old, who played his collegiate football at both the University of Wisconsin and North Carolina State University, was originally selected by the Seahawks in the third round (75th pick overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.
