It’s finally over. Seattle Seahawks fans can breathe as what arguably was the game of the season ended with them getting the win over a resilient San Francisco 49ers team. Thanks to Jason Myers, the Seahawks won the game the same way the 49ers managed to keep the game alive and send it to overtime.

It was a 42-yard attempt that had everyone at the edge of their seats. As it drifted to the post, Niners nation hoped that it would bounce off the post and go outside.

Unfortunately for them, Myers took time with his field-goal attempt this time.

Myers was celebrated by his teammates while Russell Wilson was running wild as he celebrated the well-fought victory. It would have gone the Niners way if the entire team didn’t step up and set the ball from field-goal range.

The kicker, who was slandered the week before for his terrible outing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, repaid the faith Seattle coach Pete Carroll had for him.
