Netflix recently released a roast of NFL legend Tom Brady, and it got a lot of traction. A ton of people have streamed the roast since it came out, and everyone in the sports world was talking about it after it came out. After seeing Brady get roasted, it got people thinking, who will the next athlete be that agrees to a roast? This was a successful event, so it will likely happen again the in future, and according to BetOnline, Shaquille O'Neal is the betting favorite to get the next roast.

That's right, you can actually bet on who the next athlete/sports industry figure will be to agree to a roast, and Shaquille O'Neal is the betting favorite on BetOnline. Shaq currently has +250 odds to be next. Here are the athletes with the 10 best odds:

Shaquille O'Neal: +250

Charles Barkley: +600

LeBron James: +800

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson: +800

Travis Kelce: +800

Michael Strahan: +800

Patrick Mahomes: +900

Peyton Manning: +1000

Stephen A Smith: +1200

Phil Mickelson: +1200

There are a lot of people on there that people would love to see. Shaq is certainly one of them, and so is one of his co-hosts for Inside the NBA on TNT, Charles Barkley. Next season will be the last year with the show, but Shaq and Barkley are fan favorites because of their back-and-forth banter.

Stephen A Smith would be another good one. Smith is one of the funniest people in the sports industry, and seeing him on stage during a roast would be awesome. There are a lot of people on that list that would bring in a big audience.

The Tom Brady roast was a big hit, and it will be interesting to see if we get another one like it in the future, and it will also be interesting to see if it done the same way if one does happen. Brady is one of the most famous athletes of all time, so it was clear that the roast would bring in a big audience. There are certainly some other people that would bring in a good one as well.

The Tom Brady roast got good reviews

Now that the Tom Brady roast is done, we have a good idea how other athlete roasts will go. The Brady roast got pretty solid reviews, well, except from Brady's ex-wife Giselle Bündchen. There were a good amount of jokes about their marriage and family, which is to be expected. For the most part, the reviews were good.

“I thought Tom Brady was a good sport, considering how people just roasted him,” Jay Leno said. “He's not a comic. Look, it's a jock event. It's all jocks. I mean, usually, that's done in the back room of a big restaurant, and it gets really bawdy, and the fact that it's on TV, it's probably not to everybody's taste, but you're going to their space. They're not coming into ours. But I thought it was fun.”

The person that people liked the most from the Brady roast was Nikki Glasser. A lot of people have said that they thought she was the funniest, and one big fan of hers is Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Tod Bowles.

“I caught snippets of it,” Bowles said. “I’m a huge Nikki Glaser fan, and I try to watch any roast that involves her, unfortunately I missed it that night, but I’m going to catch up with it this weekend.”

The Tom Brady roast was overall a success, and who knows, maybe Shaquille O'Neal will end up being the next athlete roasted.
