If there's any doubt that DeMar DeRozan is one of the best bucket-getters in the game today then this should definitely squash that. The 31-year old came up huge for the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday as they slugged it out against the Atlanta Hawks.

DeRozan stepped up to the plate with under 10 seconds to go in regulation to knock down his patented jumper to send the game to OT (via The Sports Place).

The Spurs clawed their way back in this one with DeRozan leading the way. They were down two possessions with under 30 seconds left to play but Dejounte Murray kept them in the game with a key three-point play to cut the lead to a single point. After Trae Young split his free throws in the Hawks' next possession, the stage was set for DeRozan to take over and send the game to extra time.

The four-time All-Star is a lethal scorer and is one of the most underrated stars in the NBA. He's been balling out in his third season with the Spurs, helping them stay in contention amid all their roster adjustments. With LaMarcus Aldridge off to the  Brooklyn Nets, all eyes are on DeMar DeRozan to try and bring the proud franchise back to the postseason.
