The San Antonio Spurs have won six games in a row over the last couple of weeks, and sixth man Manu Ginobili is somewhat confused.

With all the drama has been going on with Spurs as of late, it would make sense if the team was a little bit distracted when it took the basketball floor on a night-to-night basis. But as of late, the Spurs have been able to put that aside.

When asked about what has gone into the team's six-game win streak, Ginobili said the results have been “unexpected,” per Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News.

In those six games, the Spurs have beaten a host of playoff teams, including the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards, and Golden State Warriors. Amid all that winning, however, there have been players-only meetings and an open question on whether or not the Spurs should trade Kawhi Leonard while he still has value.

The optics of the drama obviously aren't ideal, especially given the fact that the Spurs are usually the shining examples of workplace and team culture, and problems are always handled with the utmost professionalism.

And even though the organization has a problem with Leonard and the situation surrounding his injury, the players have been able to at least try to not let that affect the team. Ginobili admitted that morale has been down. That's hard for any NBA player to admit.

But perhaps this winning streak is the best the Spurs need to show the NBA that they're not done yet and they will be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.
