The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled out a 16-13 overtime win versus their rival, the Baltimore Ravens, Sunday afternoon. With the win, Pittsburgh very likely will clinch a playoff berth later tonight. The only scenario in which the Steelers do not make the postseason now is if the Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders game Sunday night ends in a tie.

After the comeback win, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin spoke to the media. He addressed how the team got here with a very interesting take.

Tomlin acknowledged that the team has had its fair share of issues this season, but have fought to get where they are. Where they are is on the brink of an unexpected playoff berth.

Both offenses struggled Sunday in the soaking wet field in Baltimore. The rain had a clear impact on the game, as both teams looked to keep the ball on the ground. However, Pittsburgh was unable to move the ball rushing. So, they turned to quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and the short passing game.

Roethlisberger finished the game 30 of 44 for 244 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

After the Ravens tied the game with under a minute remaining, it would head to overtime. In OT, Roethlisberger made a couple of key throws, and tailback Najee Harris had a big rush that set up the game-winning field goal by Chris Boswell.

In the loss, Baltimore rushed for 249 yards. Latavius Murray led the way with a season-high 150 yards and a touchdown. However, the Ravens were unable to overcome poor red zone offense and two interceptions from backup quarterback Tyler Huntley.
