A spirited conversation has been going on the internet regarding the status of Stephen Curry‘s knee. Both Curry and Warriors head coach Steve Kerr have insisted that he's fine, but a Warriors insider claimed that Curry's health isn't as good as they're trying to make it appear.

Earlier today, Steph continued to reiterate that he's physically fine as Game 5 approaches.

“I know what I need to do to get ready for games. I'm fine,” Curry said. “If I'm playing, I need to play well.”

On Wednesday, Kerr was clear that if Curry was truly injured, he wouldn't be on the court.

“I know he's not injured – if he were injured, he would not be playing,” Kerr said.

Questions about Curry's health arose after he shot a combined 13-for-37 in the two blowout losses against the Thunder in Game's 3 and 4. Of course, it wasn't all that long ago that Curry lit up the Blazers in Portland right after coming back from his sprained knee.

Maybe Curry's knee is wearing down again, but claiming that's the reason Golden State lost the last couple of games is a complete discredit to how incredibly OKC played.

Regardless of the actual condition of Steph's knee, the 73-9 Warriors will need to make history once again to reach the Finals, trying to become the 10th NBA team to ever win a series after trailing 3-1.

Curry is confident in their ability to do so, acknowledging their need to take it one game at a time.

“We're confident we can get a win tonight and take it from there,” Curry said. “We can't worry about Game 6, Game 7 unless we win tonight. We have a pretty good understanding of how to focus on tonight only.”
