Chris Paul is not making a big deal out of the Phoenix Suns' rather shocking loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. In fact, he guarantees fans that they would have already moved on from it by the time they play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.

The Suns saw their nine-game winning streak come to an end against a Grizzlies squad missing their best players. Memphis entered the game without Ja Morant, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr., but as what they have been doing all season long, they used their balance offense and that never-say-die attitude to take down the NBA's best team this season, 122-114.

After the game, though, Paul gave credit to the Grizzlies for outworking them and dominating the offensive glass. However, he is not one bit concerned with the loss and shared their policy to think about it one game at a time.

“I guarantee by the time we get to OKC, we won't remember this,” Paul said, via Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports.

Devin Booker had a monster night with 41 points, while Chris Paul had eight points and 11 assists. The Point God also surpassed Gary Payton for no. 3 on the all-time steals list, putting him behind Michael Jordan.

It was definitely an effort that the Suns can hold their head high for. Besides, the Grizzlies have been one of the best teams in the NBA this season and losing to such squad isn't a big issue.

The good thing for the Suns is they have a veteran in Paul who can put the team in the right mentality after a tough defeat. It is easy to get lost in the moment and take the loss hard, but by the looks of it, Phoenix is not doing that.

For what it's worth, Mikal Bridges echoed a rather similar sentiment to that of Paul, highlighting that everyone should not forget that they have less than 20 losses this campaign.

“Learn from it, can't dwell on it. I mean, we won 60 games, 15 Ls…we'll be okay,” Bridges added.

That's the mentality Suns fans want to hear. Now, onto the next game against the Thunder.
