After so many years, Chris Paul is finally going to experience how it's like to play in an NBA Finals, as he and the Phoenix Suns prepare for a best-of-seven series against the Milwaukee Bucks, Paul has been around the league for so long that most guys know what to expect from the Point God. But discerning beforehand what CP3 is going to do on the court is different from actually stopping him from executing whatever it is on his mind.

Just take for example his ability to consistently knock down shots from inside the arc. According to Kirk Goldsberry of ESPN, Paul's mid-range game is one of the best among all players over the past quarter of a century.

As one of the smartest basketball players to ever live, Paul knows how to use his skills to lull opponents into making bad decisions on defense. Paul will always make the right play. Opponents would try their best in preventing him from finding his receivers, but they will also have to account for his dependable jumper around the perimeter. In this postseason alone, Paul is getting 35.6% of his points off mid-range jumpers, the most among all Suns players with at least an average of 10.0 minutes of playing time per game.

Chris Paul will have a tough challenge of dealing with Jrue Holiday's defense, but if there's a player the Suns could rely on to get the job done in the face of a tough on-ball defender, Paul is definitely one.
