Phoenix Suns star point guard Chris Paul is finally playing in the NBA Finals for the first time in his illustrious career. It's a surreal feeling for The Point God after years of falling short in the playoffs, and he couldn't help but acknowledge the weirdness during his Monday media session:

CP3 also opened up on how he and the Suns are trying to keep the “balance” when it comes to both having fun and seriously preparing for this championship series against the Milwaukee Bucks:

We know how competitive CP3 is, so even if he's allowing himself some fun ahead of the NBA Finals, he's definitely making sure his Suns are also focused on the task at hand. It has been an incredible run for Phoenix in these playoffs, but the job is far from over. The Bucks are going to be a tough challenge, even with Giannis Antetokounmpo's status in question.

Paul will be looking to enhance his legacy with his first championship. He has already had several transcendent games in these playoffs, including in Game 6 to close out the Los Angeles Clippers. The Point Guard poured in 41 points in the victory, including 31 in the second half as he stuck dagger after dagger into his former team.

Paul has battled through several health issues in these playoffs as well, including a shoulder injury and a positive COVID-19 diagnosis. He's ready to finally get that elusive first championship.

The Suns host the Bucks for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night.
