Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker has been a longtime supporter of the WNBA and, in the past two years of the Phoenix Mercury, now putting his best effort forward to drive students to come support them.

The 20-year-old phenom bought 270 tickets for the Arizona State University student section for them to be present when the Mercury take on the Seattle Storm in a single-elimination Round 1 playoff game on Wednesday.

Booker has been in attendance of multiple Mercury games, according to Jeremy Cluff of The Arizona Republic — leading by example in support of one of the most successful teams the city of Phoenix has seen, winning a WNBA championship in 2007, 2009, and most-recently in 2014.

He recently was part of the NBA's Lean In campaign, along with his younger sister — one which encouraged the support of women in athletic endeavors. Booker has also been featured in Mercury TV as well as a WNBA spot which spoke of the rising quality of the league.

This playoff game will take place at the Wells Fargo Arena, as the Talking Stick Resort Arena is unavailable as it's slated to host Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes over the weekend.

Tickets will be given in a first-come, first-served basis to those with a valid student ID.
