The Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns engaged in a critical Game 5 matchup on Tuesday night, with Phoenix emerging victorious by a score of 110-80. Of the Mavs' 80 points, 49 of them were scored by Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson.

Needless to say, it was a frustrating night for Doncic, who found himself doing most of the heavy lifting for the night. His frustration boiled over in a viral moment caught on camera, as he called Suns star Devin Booker a “pu**y a**.”

Check it out:

After a turnover, Doncic was walking over to the ref with the ball in his hands when Booker snatched it from him and saying, “I'll take that.” The Mavs star didn't take kindly to the Suns guard's off-the-clock defense, calling him a “pu**y a**.”

Booker and the Suns were going to do whatever it took to emerge with the win, even if that meant attempting to get under the skin of Doncic and the Mavs with a little bit of extra defense during a stoppage in play.

Of course, the Suns star guard proved to be too much for Doncic and the Mavs to handle on the court during play as well, as he scored a team-high 28 points to lead the way for Phoenix, which now owns a 3-2 lead in this second-round series of the 2022 NBA Playoffs.

It's now on Doncic and the Mavs to respond — and not with words.
