The Phoenix Suns announced a unique partnership with PayPal Holdings Inc. on Tuesday. The goal, according to PayPal's official report, is to bring fans who visit Talking Stick Resort Arena an innovative way to make purchases during events. Now, with this new deal in place, patrons will be able to utilize their PayPal or Venmo balances for a wide variety of purchases.

This agreement between two companies dedicated to creating industry leading experiences brings them together to change how fans make purchases at Talking Stick Resort Arena and online at the Official Phoenix Suns Store. We will work together to enable fans to:

– Use their PayPal and Venmo balances for merchandise and concession purchases.

– Speed up purchases by outfitting concession and merchandise stands with PayPal Here card readers, accepting credit, debit, or tap to pay mobile payments – allowing fans to pay however they choose.

– Access PayPal through the Phoenix Suns App for a more convenient way to make purchases for their favorite Phoenix Suns gear or concessions during the game.

– Suns’ SixthMan season ticket members will be able to utilize PayPal Credit – allowing them to pay the full balance over time.

PayPal also announced that they are proud to be the Suns' first sponsor. The PayPal logo will be stitched on the left side of the team's jerseys, opposite the Nike logo.

According to their official press release, PayPal will also sponsor the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury and Real Club Deportivo Mallorca, which is owned by Suns Managing Partner Robert Sarver.

PayPal noted that they are working with the Suns to develop an innovative new lab that will create fan-friendly services and revolutionize how they interact with teams when making purchases — whether they're at the game, shopping online, or using the app.

Through this partnership, we’ll utilize PayPal’s leadership and expertise in technology and innovation to help create a better experience for our fans at home and around the globe.”

The Suns will kick off their 2018-19 regular season campaign on Oct. 17 against the Dallas Mavericks.
