Washington Redskins receiver Terry McLaurin hasn't just become one of the biggest Fantasy Football sleepers this season, but an absolute steal for Washington. With many stating that the 2019 wide receiver draft class wasn't as stacked with talent as there has been in previous years, 11 receivers still heard their name called by the commissioner before McLaurin.

Although falling to the third round, McLaurin has done nothing but prove he was a first round talent and among the top receivers in his class.

In Monday night's loss to the Chicago Bears, McLaurin was one of the only bright spots for the Redskins as he became the first wide receiver in NFL history to have at least five catches and a receiving score in each of his first three career games. McLaurin joins Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Mecole Hardman as wide receivers from the 2019 class that have awed fans and the media through the first three games of the season, with McLaurin being drafted far behind the other two.

While Brown and Hardman are having the ball thrown to them by two of the top MVP candidates so far this season in Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, McLaurin is accomplishing this with Case Keenum under center and a struggling Washington team.

With many calling for the team to turn the page on Case Keenum, McLaurin might benefit from having a budding star come in and replacing the veteran quarterback. McLaurin and fellow rookie Dwayne Haskins already have a strong connection as they played together at Ohio State. Already having a familiarity with one another in terms of how they play, McLaurin might see his targets go up even more as he has established himself as the number one receiver on the team.

Once Haskins was drafted by Washington, he immediately begged for the team to go out and get one his guys and was lucky enough to have McLaurin fall to them in the third round.

As Washington's young core in McLaurin and Montez Sweat continue to improve, adding Haskins into the mix would only create a more cohesive unit while also giving the fans a chance to see what the future of the franchise could look like. Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants will be interesting to watch, to say the least.
