J.J. Watt is known for sacking quarterbacks with the Houston Texans but he'll be showing off his comedy skills off of the field. On the night before the Super Bowl, Watt is set to host Saturday Night Live for the first time.

Of course, Watt would've liked his Texans to be in the Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 2nd. Instead, the two-time Defensive Player of the Year is going to be spending the night before the Super Bowl on national television.

The NFL is going to host their annual NFL Honors show the same night that Watt is on Saturday Night Live. But with Watt being sidelined for eight games in 2019, it's unlikely he takes home any hardware.

Earlier in the season, Watt suffered a torn pectoral in Week 8 against the Oakland Raiders. The Texans placed Watt on injured reserve and the belief was that he would be out for the rest of the season.

However, once again, the veteran defensive end proved he was superhuman when it came to recovering from injuries. After getting ahead of schedule in his recovery, Watt returned to the field in the playoffs.

Unfortunately, Houston was eliminated from the playoffs by the Kansas City Chiefs after holding a 24-0 lead in the second quarter in the Divisional Round. In light of that, the Chiefs are going to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl on Feb. 2nd.

As for J.J. Watt, he's going to be turning 31-years-old in March and it's uncertain how long he'll play in the NFL. Maybe Watt's life after football will include him being the biggest comedian in the industry.
