Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher and Alabama Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban clearly do not like each other. Amid their feud that escalated to epic proportions in the media, Fisher was once again asked his thoughts on Saban during the SEC Media Day on Thursday. He appears to be trying to squash the beef with his latest comments.

“I have no problem with Nick,” Fisher said.

That sounds like someone who is ready to move on. Two months ago, Nick Saban called out the Aggies for ‘buying their players' after Texas A&M landed the best recruiting class in college football. Fisher took exception to that in one of the greatest college football rants of all-time.

“There's a reason why I haven’t gone back and worked with (Saban), and there were opportunities. Didn’t want to be associated with him.” Fisher said. “Some people think they’re God. Go dig in to how ‘God' did his deal and you may find out about a guy, a lot of things you don’t want to know. We build him up to be the czar of football. Go dig into his past or anybody who’s ever coached with him. You can find out anything you want to find out about what he does and how he does it. It’s despicable, it really is.”

Jimbo Fisher coached under Nick Saban in Baton Route at LSU for five years before the Alabama coach left for the Miami Dolphins. Things seemed to have cooled down but you can bet they will heat back up when the Crimson Tide face the Aggies October 8th.
