Given that Goran Dragic hasn't played much for the Toronto Raptors this season, it's likely that he'll be dealt with during the trade deadline, according to various rumors.

He's only appeared in five games for the Raptors this season, and retaining him on the roster makes little sense. It's unclear why they decided to bring him in, given that he made it clear when he was dealt with Toronto that he didn't want to play there, and he wasn't joking about it, given that he hasn't played.

Unfortunately for Toronto, getting a trade done for him will be difficult, especially given the size of his contract. He won't be easy to move, but the Toronto Raptors front office has shown time and time again that they know how to close a deal, so don't be surprised if one happens in Toronto.

According to the most recent sources, he will almost certainly wear a Dallas Mavericks jersey. According to sources, he is good friends with Luka Doncic, and it makes sense that he would want to play for the Mavs, especially because they are not a terrific three-point shooting squad.

Let's take a look at three teams that could benefit from adding Goran Dragic to their team.

While all of these trades could be tough, some contending teams are going to overpay and due to the players’ salary, they will have to give back a certain package. Not all of these trades are likely, but contending teams are going to be doing everything they can to get better, which could cause some wild trades to be done, as we have seen in the past. Teams in a rebuild type of situation will also attempt to move some key players, and at times, for less than what they are worth.

Goran Dragic NBA Trade Deadline

3. Mavs

As previously said, he is expected to wear a Dallas Mavericks jersey this week, although other teams have shown interest in him as well. He'll fit in nicely with the Dallas Mavericks since they're one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the NBA, and if they want to make a run in the playoffs, they'll need someone who can spread the floor, which Goran Dragic has been able to accomplish throughout his career.

Anyone who has followed Dragic over the past few seasons has noticed that when he needs to play at a high level and make that huge shot, he was generally there for the Miami Heat, getting the job done and providing exactly what they need.

Given how effective Luka is as a facilitator, this may be a match made in heaven. Luka would be able to get him a lot of open looks, and he'd be able to knock them down at a high rate. This is precisely what the Mavs want if they are to achieve the success they desire this season, therefore, anticipate them to go all out to get him.

2. Celtics

The Boston Celtics, like the Dallas Mavericks, will need a player who can spread the floor at a high level. At the moment, there isn't anyone on the Celtics' roster who can catch and shoot the three-point shot at a high level. Boston has been playing better basketball recently, but as everyone knows, things can quickly deteriorate with this club.

By no means does he put Boston over the top, and given how much Dragic earns, it may be difficult for them to reach an agreement, but if a buyout is possible, he may be the ideal match for this squad.

Given that they are going to be double-teamed most of the time they touched the ball in the playoffs, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will be able to get him a lot of open looks.

1. Grizzlies

It will be interesting to see if the Memphis Grizzlies make a move, because they might not need to. There isn't really an area on their roster that is lacking, but getting a guy who can shoot the 3-point shot like Dragic might be a good move for them.

Goran Dragic may not be a good match for the Grizzlies because of some of the things he's done during his career, such as his dirty plays. However, the Grizzlies must recognize that they aren't a top 3-point shooting team in the league, and that is something they will most likely be seeking at the deadline. They may find themselves in a difficult situation if they do not hit the three-point shot at an above-average level in the playoffs.
