Goran Dragic has become a forgotten man in the NBA, as the veteran point guard played in only five games so far this season with the Toronto Raptors. However, that doesn't mean he's not being mentioned in trade discussions. According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Raptors have tried a heat check on what they could get in return for Dragic and a first-rounder when they spoke with the Indiana Pacers.

While the Raptors continue discussing Goran Dragic trade scenarios, Toronto has phoned rival teams gauging what Dragic and a first-round pick could bring back north of the border, sources told B/R. That framework was brought up in Myles Turner negotiations before he suffered a stress fracture in his foot. As the Raptors are searching for frontcourt help, Robert Williams has also been mentioned of late as a name on Toronto's list of big-man targets.

Clearly, the Raptors are looking for help to boost their interior. After all, they are currently just 23rd in the NBA in points in the paint, though they have some bright spots in the frontcourt in the forms of Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam. Still, they are lacking a legitimate center whom they can rely upon consistently on both ends of the floor.

Dragic is set to hit free agency at the end of the season. He landed in Toronto after getting traded by the Miami Heat along with Precious Achiuwa for Kyle Lowry back in August 2021.
