The superstar duo of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady bested the young superstar tandem of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen at Capital One's The Match. While Rodgers and Brady basked in the glory of their success, Mahomes and Allen must be left feeling like they want to get back as soon as possible at the older quarterbacks.

Allen even admitted that he played like…uhm…trash:

Mahomes then responded to sort of console his golfing buddy, leaving a hint about a potential rematch in the future:

Mahomes and Allen were the underdogs going into The Match, which makes sense because Rodgers had the best handicap among the four quarterbacks, while Allen had the worst. The competition turned out to be an entertaining one because of all the trash talking that happened throughout the event — mainly from Brady, who seemed to have spent more time preparing for that part of the game than anything else. While Mahomes and Allen managed to keep things interesting, it was still Rodgers and Brady who ended up with the last laugh.

Mahomes can have his revenge against Brady on the field in the 2022 NFL season when his Kansas City Chiefs go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. Rodgers' Green Bay Packers, on the other hand, will face Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 8.
