A day after a Cleveland pastor put on a nice impersonation of ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski by saying he’s got sources telling him that LeBron James is going back to the Cavaliers, here comes another unlikely harbinger of NBA breaking news in the form of former NFL wide receiver, Chad Johnson.

According to Johnson, via his official Twitter account, free agent forward Paul George has not yet decided on which team he would play next contrary to what some reports are saying.

Johnson, who played 11 seasons in the NFL, is known for his on-field exploits as much as for his colorful personality. This is a man who once changed his legal name to Chad Ocho Cinco before reverting back to his birth name, so whatever he says can’t be taken seriously most of the time.

Perhaps it’s just natural for “alternative” news sources like Chad Johnson to come out of the woodwork during this part of the NBA offseason in which an extreme degree of uncertainty often engulfs players and teams alike.

In any case, Paul George has not announced his decision that he may or may not still have as of this writing. The Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder are still keeping their fingers crossed that George ultimately chooses them, but until then, the All-Star forward is doing a fine job of keeping NBA fans and teams on the edge of their seats.
