Oklahoma City Thunder forward Carmelo Anthony signed a new long-term deal with Jordan Brand in January 2017, and there are changes coming as a result.

According to ESPN's Nick DePaula, the Melo brand shoe series will come to an end after its 13th model, and his 15th year in the league.

While you may see Carmelo Anthony still sporting his M13 shoes from last season, he will swap those out for other Jordan signature shoes, possibly a player edition Air Jordan XXXII once the season begins.

That means he will continue to be one of the top featured athletes endorsing the brand while the company looks to revamp its signature shoe lines, although the details of what's in the works remain unknown.

Anthony signed with Jordan Brand as a 19-year-old rookie after leading Syracuse to a national championship and declaring for the NBA Draft in 2003.

Since that time, the 6'8″ forward remains in elite company by having had the fifth-longest shoe line among players in the history of the NBA, which also includes, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Allen Iverson respectively.

Ironically, Anthony's teammate Russell Westbrook also signed a long-term 10 year deal with Jordan Brand to become its highest-paid endorser to date although he doesn't have his own specific line of shoes but that will change within the next 12-14 months.
