Russell Westbrook surprised a lot of reporters following their win last Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers as he was nowhere to be found inside their locker room for post-game interviews. That happened again on Monday after they carved out a 95-88 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

It has been reported that he left their locker room inside Chesapeake Energy Arena well before members of the media entered. He made sure he made his exit early in order to avoid them and not answer their questions anymore, according to Royce Young of ESPN.

Despite only missing out on another triple-double by one assist, Russell Westbrook was still frustrated on the night as he also committed 10 turnovers and was even ejected late in the fourth quarter for continuing to argue with the referees. He finished with 19 points, on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, to go along with 16 rebounds, nine assists, and a steal.

It will be very interesting to find out if the reigning MVP will continue this tactic he does to avoid reporters. He used to be welcoming to them and is one of the more animated players to interview in all of the NBA. For what it's worth, the benefit of the doubt could be given to him on Monday as he was clearly frustrated and may have opted to give himself some space from them. However, if this keeps up, he'll surely be questioned about his decision and could even be asked by the Thunder to stay longer after games for the media availability.
