Some Los Angeles natives, including Russell Westbrook and Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder got a good scrimmage going at Rico Hines Run at UCLA, as both star players got their first look at the recently-acquired Dennis Schroder.

Westbrook and George did not disappoint, putting on a show, but the German Blur also showed out in front of the local crowd, displaying an array of finishes at the rim to pair with his demonic speed.

New Zealand native Steven Adams also put in some work of his own, doling out put-back slams and spin moves this early in the summer, previewing what could come for this upcoming 2018-19 season.

Russell Westbrook is a regular at the UCLA campus after playing one year at the school before declaring for the NBA Draft.

Paul George, a Palmdale native, often circles back around his hometown and makes the most of his summer there, having recently returned from USA Basketball's minicamp in Las Vegas.

Dennis Schroder was the main return piece in the Carmelo Anthony trade after being exiled by his former team, the Atlanta Hawks. The 6-foot-1 whirling dervish will serve as Westbrook's backup, and likely as one of the best at it in the league.
