Just a day after Stephen Curry broke the all-time record for most 3-pointers in NBA history, it looks like Minnesota Timberwolves rising star Anthony Edwards is ready to make a run for that feat as well.

On Wednesday in their 124-107 win over the Denver Nuggets, Edwards became the youngest player to record 10 triples in a game. Ant Man went 10-of-14 from deep on his way to a game-high 38 points. He was efficient all night long, recording a 66.7 percent shooting clip overall.

It's not the only record he broke and history he made, though, as he also became just the seventh player in the history of the league to reach 2,000 points in his first 100 games at age 20 or younger, per SportsCenter. The players he joined? Well, it's just LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic, Carmelo Anthony, Zion Williamson and Kyrie Irving.

While Anthony Edwards didn't win Rookie of the Year–losing the honor to Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball–the Timberwolves rising star has certainly shown why he was the no. 1 pick of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Of course Edwards still has a lot to prove and the Timberwolves remain a mediocre and above-average team at best. Nonetheless, he is undoubtedly showing that the future is bright with him leading the way. With the way he is playing, winning that coveted MVP award in the future isn't far-fetched for the youngster.
