Minnesota Timberwolves Karl-Anthony Towns is one of the league's best big men, but he cannot take the Timberwolves to the playoffs by himself. Everyone knows that he's on the lookout for superstar teammates that will help him, and Devin Booker was raised as a favorite to make the jump.

He was asked in his Instagram stories whether Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will move to the Twin Cities. ClutchPoints recorded his response. It was a hilarious image that could possibly be seen by the league as tampering.

It's not hard to see why Towns would even make such a daring shot. Booker is playing an incredibly solid season so far for the overachieving Suns. He's averaging 24.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists on 51% shooting. He's now established himself as one of the best scorers in the NBA today, so it's no wonder that Towns would definitely love to have him on his team.

A quick look at the Timberwolves will also help you understand why he wants to join the team. Andrew Wiggins has grown to become a solid player alongside him, averaging 24.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. However, there's no one else in the Wolves roster who can create his own offense the way they do. And with the ever-competitive Western Conference looking a little more indomitable this season, having Booker on the team will definitely boost their chances of making a deep run in the playoffs.

However, this is an unlikely thing to happen as Booker's tied to a long-term deal with the Suns that will see him become $36 million richer by the end of the 2023-24 season. The Wolves will have to do a bit of front office magic before that happens.
