The Tennessee Titans played much of the second half without star running back Derrick Henry, who was dealing with a foot injury. However, led by quarterback Ryan Tannehill, talented wide receiver AJ Brown and an underrated defense, Tennessee managed to clinch the AFC's number-one seed. Now, with an NFL Divisional round playoff matchup looming against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Titans could have their All-Pro running back in the lineup come Saturday afternoon. AJ Brown spoke to reporters on what Henry's return means to Tennessee, via NBC Sports.

“It definitely gives us some confidence,” Brown said, via Turron Davenport of ESPN. “He’s a tremendous player. In my opinion, I think he’s the best running back in the game. So just having him back and just having that confidence of him around that at any moment, he can go for 70 [yards]. So that gives us confidence. So, we’re excited.”

Not only did AJ Brown say that Derrick Henry's return gives the Titans “some confidence”, but he also said that he believes the Titans star is the best running back in the NFL. It would be hard to argue that point, as Henry ran for over 2,000 yards last season and nearly ran for 1,000 despite being sidelined since Week 8.

The confidence boost that Brown is referring to here stems from the fact that, like the Titans wideout said, Henry can take the ball 70 yards to the house at any moment.

While the Henry return hasn't officially been confirmed, it's likely he'll be out there. Even if he's not at full strength, just having Derrick Henry on the field means everything for AJ Brown and the Titans.
