Former Titans running back Eddie George will be honored in Tennessee's next home game along with the late, great quarterback Steve McNair. It should make for something emotional in remembrance of a time in which the Titans were truly dominant. And the Titans will need to feel that sort of intensity as they go into this divisional game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Titans haven't found themselves on the winning side against the Colts too often. Indianapolis has won 18 of the last 21 meetings between the two divisional rivals, including an 11-game losing streak that happened from 2011-2016.

George expects to see the Titans pull out a win this time around. And in some ways to take this game as a personal challenge.

“There are games that you take as business, and then there are games you take as personal. Take this game personal. Indianapolis, for a long time, has been a thorn in their side, has been a hurdle that they’ve had to overcome. . . . Now they can establish themselves and say, ‘Hey, we’re for real. They can go out and prove they can win consecutive weeks and be consistent.”

The Titans are looking for a lot of the same results from their 2017 season when they were able to shut out the Colts in their divisional play. This was the same season when Jacoby Brissett had to fill in for Andrew Luck for the entirety of that season. And with Brissett taking over the reins from Luck and being the starting quarterback again, Tennessee is looking for the same outcome.
