The Tennessee Titans' 2021 – 22 season was full of turmoil. The team set a record for most players dressed in a season, with a shocking 91 players suiting up for them. Despite their injury woes, the team somehow put together the best record in the AFC, thanks in large part to Mike Vrabel's coaching.

Because of Mike Vrabel's excellence, the Tennessee Titans coach won the 2021 NFL Coach of the Year award. The award is a testament to the coach's ability to field a talented team despite their numerous holes due to injury.

The Titans nursed several injuries at key positions during the entire season. Derrick Henry, the team's ace running back, missed nearly half the season due to a foot ailment. Julio Jones and AJ Brown also spent time on the injured list. Their offensive line was a mismash of practice squad players and second-stringers at times. Despite that, they somehow were able to earn a much-needed bye week in the playoffs.

The Titans' pass rush came to play in the playoffs. They were able to set an NFL record of nine sacks against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the offense would crumble (thanks to Henry not being at 100% and some Ryan Tannehill interceptions) at crucial moments, leading to an upset win by the Bengals.

Despite that horrible loss, though, there's still much to be excited about this Titans team. If they were able to do all of that in the regular season with a depleted roster, imagine what Vrabel can do with a mostly healthy squad. There's reason to be optimistic in Cincinnati, and they can surely make more noise next season.
