The Tennessee Titans' retooling of their offense continues after they drafted quarterback Malik Willis in the third round. Willis was regarded as one of the best quarterbacks of the class, but he surprisingly fell all the way to third round. Now, he joins a team headed by Ryan Tannehill on offense.

After drafting Malik Willis, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel explained his plans for the quarterback. The coach said that there's a possibility of the QB being involved in a few packages on offense for them. That's surely going to be an interesting experiment for the team moving forward. The Titans were not part of the teams that were rumored to be looking for a quarterback. However, they were on the market for a potential Tannehill replacement down the line. Their drafting of Willis is perfect, as it allows the young QB to sit the first season and learn from the sidelines.

Willis was one of the hottest names coming into the NFL draft. He gained publicity during workouts and the combine due to stellar on and off-field performances. However, concerns about his college team's “simple” playbook caused Willis to fall all the way to the Titans in the third round.

The Titans aren't too mad at it, though. They have slowly but surely started to retool their offense after AJ Brown's abrupt departure for the team. Willis and Treylon Burks might be their next duo of the future, with Derrick Henry posing a big threat from the backfield as well.
