The Tennessee Titans have had kicking issues to begin the season, and they are likely bringing in a familiar name in hopes to fix them. According to Ian Rapoport, Tennessee is expected to sign former Chicago Bears' kicker Cody Parkey.

The last time that Parkey kicked in a game, it was the NFC Wild Card Game between the Bears and Philadelphia Eagles. As many Bears fans know, Parkey missed a 43-yard field goal that would've advanced Chicago into the next round of the playoffs.

Prior to the missed kick, the veteran kicker had made all three of his field-goal tries, but his last one with the Bears hit both uprights and fell hopelessly to the ground. When the game concluded, everyone knew that Parkey's job was at risk.

As expected, Chicago released him during the offseason and began their search for a new kicker. Now, it's the Titans who join the group of teams who are in dire need of a reliable placekicker.

Through the first five weeks of the season, Cairo Santos has manned the kicker position for the Titans. In those games, Santos has converted on just four of his nine field-goal attempts.

However, on Sunday, Santos missed all four of his field-goal tries as the team fell to the Buffalo Bills 14-7. There's no doubt that the game could've played out differently if Santos had made those field goals.

With Santos struggling to put the ball through the uprights, Mike Vrabel saw it best to start fresh with someone new. Now, Parkey will finally get a chance to redeem himself after double-doinking the last kick he took in his career.
