The Tennessee Titans have been without superstar running back Derrick Henry for the better part of the 2021 season. Henry's been sidelined since Week 8 after undergoing surgery on his injured foot. But he seems to be making excellent progress in his recovery, and the Titans' latest social media activity will have fans going nuts.

The team's official Instagram account shared a photo of Henry, captioning it with three hourglass emojis, potentially teasing at the impending return of their star player.

Titans fans, it may be time to get your Henry jerseys back out. After having missed the team's previous seven games, Henry was reported to be nearing a return to action, and the Titans' Instagram post suggests that he could be back on the field even sooner than initially anticipated.

For insight on the Titans' Week 17 matchup against the Dolphins, listen below:

At 10-5, the Titans need just one more win to secure a playoff berth, and they'll look to get that victory in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins, who are in the midst of a seven-game winning streak. Having Henry back in the mix would go a long way towards the Titans securing their playoff spot, as his importance to the team's offensive game plan cannot be understated.

Prior to going down with the foot injury, Henry rushed 219 times for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns across just eight games, seemingly well on his way to yet another rushing title. While he won't be able to be the regular season RB King in 2021, he has a chance to help the Titans make a deep run in the playoffs.
