It looked like the Tennessee Titans might be in the clear after two straight days without any positive COVID-19 tests. However, two more Titans players have tested positive, putting their Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills in doubt, according to ESPN's Diana Russini.

Following six straight days of positive tests, Tennessee had been hoping to reopen its facility on Wednesday after the two consecutive days without a positive. That's now on hold.

The Titans already had their Week 4 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers postponed until Oct. 25 due to their outbreak, which has seen 22 total members of the organization test positive in the last two weeks. It's hard to see how Tennessee can play Buffalo on Sunday with more players testing positive, plus an inability to prepare for the game at hand.

Furthermore, moving the game back to Monday seems impossible because the Bills are set to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 6. Buffalo had a team meeting on Wednesday morning to discuss the situation.

The Titans have been investigated by the NFL and NFLPA to determine if there have been any violations when it comes to COVID-19 protocols. The NFL just recently sent out new, stricter protocols to every team in an effort to limit positive tests around the league.

In addition to these new Titans positives, Stephon Gilmore of the New England Patriots and an unnamed Los Vegas Raiders player also just tested positive.
