There has been plenty of speculation regarding the Tennessee Titans' interest in New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. It appears the rumors have started to gain some steam heading into free agency.

It is no secret that the Titans have a void to fill under center with the uncertain future of Ryan Tannehill. According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, they are seriously exploring the prospect of signing Brady.

The Titans’ situation is a little more complicated—the idea of bringing Ryan Tannehill back in 2020 really does appeal to them, and they need to make a decision on tagging him before March 12—but they’re fully investigating the possibility to reuniting Brady with his buddy Mike Vrabel.

There is already a connection waiting for Brady in Tennessee with head coach Mike Vrabel. The pair had won three Super Bowls together during Vrabel's playing days in New England and the remain as close friends after recent their FaceTime call went viral. It is safe to say that this would certainly make for quite the reunion.

The Titans will not be the only suitors looking to acquire Brady's services this offseason. The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers have been pegged as a few frontrunners that will be making their pitch. Although both teams are set to usher in new era's at their respective stadiums in the 2020 NFL season, the prospect of playing in the same division as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to end his career is hardly intriguing.

Meanwhile, there is a star-studded supporting cast to work with in Tennessee headlined by an elite workhorse running back in Derrick Henry and a bonafide No. 1 wideout in A.J. Brown. Of course, his close relationship with Vrabel could prove to be a major deciding factor in their recruiting pitch.
