He's been with the Tennessee Titans less than a week, but Desmond King is making sure to leave his mark in his debut against the Chicago Bears in Week 9. The 25-year old cornerback was able to capitalize off a fumble by David Montgomery, returning it for a 63-yard touchdown.

King was traded to the Titans on Nov. 2 in exchange for a sixth-round pick. Given his lack of preparation time ahead of Sunday, it's much of a relief for the Titans to watch the back perform to a spectacular level so far. After being traded, King wasn't able to access the Titans' practice facilities until Saturday, limiting his readiness ahead of Sunday. Yet given the Titans' short-handedness in the backfield, having him present and ready on Sunday was crucial.

King was only able to participate in Zoom meetings since being traded, and was never afforded the luxury of going through even one practice with his new squad. He's got two tackles so far against the Bears to go with his fumble recovery.
