Back in 2019, Tribes of Midgard was in its open beta phase. Players got to experience the RPG before the game returned to closed beta sometime in 2020. Now, the game is finally officially launching in July.

The game will launch with Season 1: The Wolf Saga inclusive of new classes, exclusive loot, and a new boss. Tribes of Midgard will have two game modes in the season launch, Saga Mode and Survival Mode. Saga mode will consist of quests based on the current season. There will be eight different classes in the game: Ranger, Warrior, Guardian, Seer, Hunter, Berserker, Sentinel, and Warden. The classes will expand in future updates.

Just like any other RPG, players need to level up their characters to unlock game-changing abilities in Tribes of Midgard‘s skill tree. It’s crucial that players unlock certain abilities in the skill tree in order for their character to suit the players’ playstyle. If you happen to always play the game with a party, players should strategize in selecting abilities to perfectly blend your team's play.

Notably, Season 1 introduces rune systems in Tribes of Midgard. These runes will further enhance your character’s powers and abilities.

As time goes by, seasonal updates will come to Tribes of Midgard changing the pace and dynamic of the game. These updates that we’re aware of will arrive in September (mid-season update), November (Season 2 update), and January (mid-season update).

Tribes of Midgard is a survival-action RPG co-op game that allows players to squad up from one to ten players. In the game, you will play as Einherjar revived by Odin tasked to stop Ragnarok. Players are pit against giants determined to destroy the Seed of Yggdrasil. Tribes of Midgard is set to release on July 27 for the PS5, PS4, and PC.
