Controversial UFC star Jon “Bones” Jones has vowed not to return to Team Jackson-Wink after the famed gym banned him from rejoining the team.

Following his run-ins with the law, former UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones has been kicked out by Team Jackson-Wink. One of the gym's founders Mike Winkeljohn, wants Jones to get his act together before they could possibly consider giving him another chance.

However, that chance is never going to happen as Jones confirmed in a series of tweets that he has no plans of reuniting with the renowned MMA gym.

“Definitely won’t be going back [to Jackson Wink gym] but I will continue to root for all the fighters that are training there,” Jones tweeted. “I do believe my training methods and sessions have improved significantly since changing environments. Grateful for all the time I got to spend there, everything has its time.”

Jones further announced in another tweet that he is currently “on the lookout” for new trainers and teams to work with, specializing “mainly” in wrestling and kickboxing.

“I know I won’t be able to train in my garage forever, eventually I’m going to need more training partners,” he wrote. “Mainly wrestling partners and kickboxers. I’m on the lookout for teams that I’ll be able to visit and come train with, maybe get some sparring sessions in.”

The former champ last fought in the UFC in February of 2020. Barring the “no contest” against Daniel Cormier in 2017, Jones has been undefeated in the promotion for 17 consecutive fights.
