VALORANT Episode 4 Act 1 was officially released back on January 11, 2022, which was also the debut of Neon. It’s only natural that players get excited when a new Episode or Act releases in VALORANT because of new content drops. This time won’t be any different as we are rapidly approaching VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2. Here’s everything we know so far.

VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 Release Date: March 1, 2022

Players can expect VALORANT’s new Act to come in by March 1, 2022. This is only if no causes of delay are to intervene with Riot’s plans. Back in the 3rd quarter of 2021, VALORANT Episode 3 Act 2 was unfortunately delayed due to some constraints. If things go smoothly this time around, then we can expect the new Act to start on time.

New Map

Riot usually releases either a new agent or map each act. With Act 1 seeing the debut of Neon in VALORANT, we can expect a new map of Act 2. Interestingly enough, rumors about the new map started spreading since Episode 4’s cinematic trailer was released. Self-proclaimed VALORANT Lore Master, Cynprel, pointed out on Twitter the details regarding the new map. They posted a screenshot of a scene from the trailer featuring a map spotted behind Raze. Apparently, after thorough research by Cynprel, the map’s location is somewhere in Lisbon, Portugal. In fact, a few months prior to the recent tweet, Cypnrel also found evidence about the map being in Portugal. However, players should take this with a grain of salt since the map behind Raze could be completely random.

Other Content

As always, the new Act will feature a brand new battle pass filled with new skins, buddies, and player cards. This is definitely something to look forward to for players who regularly buy the battle pass each act. As of the moment, we have no information regarding what the battle pass specifically contains. Other than the battle pass, players can also expect the long-awaited rework of Yoru. More information about this rework and other content will be coming in the following weeks.
