The VALORANT Champions Tour NA Masters concluded this past weekend and a new king takes the crown. Sentinels completely dominated the complication that culminated in a grand finals shutdown on FaZe Clan. FaZe stands as a veteran of esports but it could do nothing against the Sentinels' precision shooting and teamwork. Above all, there's just no arguing with a clean 3-0 sweep over one of the most established organizations in FPS history.

WINNING VCT NA MASTERS IN STYLE

Sentinels entered the VCT NA Masters tournament with the help of emergency substitute Tyson “TenZ” Ngo. The formerly-retired players racked up an impressive 53/36 K/D score in the grand finals. TenZ had to step in for Sentinels when its previous player Jay “sinatraa” Won received a suspension from Riot Games following sexual assault allegations.

FaZe faced off against Sentinels in the tournament's winners' finals. Sadly, FaZe experienced its first harsh defeat in a 2-0 shutout. FaZe fared better at the beginning of the grand finals on the Ascent map.  FaZe secured a 5-1 lead before all hell broke loose. Sentinels found their groove and never let up. The 13-11 victory on Ascent bust the series wide open for the rampaging Sentinels.

Now, after Sentinels claimed the crown, one player's fate hangs in the balance. TenZ came out of retirement to provide some much-needed help for Sentinels but it proved to be the winning move for the NA squad. Currently, TenZ fights under Sentinels as a stand-in but he has proven to be an asset that the team can no longer continue without. Should Sentinels wish to continue their dominant streak in competitive VALORANT, they may look to acquire TenZ permanently. Sentinels currently stands as the best VALORANT team in North America. The organization won't have long to decide on their team lineup before the next VALORANT tournament set to take place in Iceland.
