Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins threw a perfect pass to veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen that brought the NFC North team to the goal line in overtime to set up the game-winning touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card round (via NFL).

Thielen, 29, a two-time Pro-Bowler, caught a clutch 43-yard pass from Cousins to set up the Vikings' offense at the Saints' two-yard line in overtime. The Saints mounted a second-half comeback, closing a ten-point deficit with a time-expiring 49-yard field goal from kicker Will Lutz to send the close contest into overtime. However, Minnesota started with the ball and with major help from Cousins' fantastic find of Thielen down the middle of the field, the Vikings were able to pull off the upset, as another No. 6 seed in the postseason this year defeated the No. 3 seed to advance.

Kyle Rudolph caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone from Cousins a few plays later to seal the win for the Vikings and prove that the “Minneapolis Miracle” two years ago was not a one-and-done moment for the squad.
