The Golden State Warriors signed Andre Iguodala on Friday, just a day after it was reported that the veteran was deciding between the Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Los Angeles Lakers. The report came out of his intent to sign, and Shams Charania of The Athletic confirmed it shortly after.

However, Iguodala put Shams on blast for his use of “sources.”

Iguodala was brutally honest with Shams, who didn't mention the source. Minutes earlier, Iguodala's decision to sign with the Warriors was reported by Jonathan Abrams of New York Times Sports.

For what it's worth, the ongoing battle between Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski has once again been at full force during the 2021 NBA free agency period. Still, Iguodala didn't hold back and wanted to ensure the “sources” got the credit they deserved for breaking the news first of him signing with the Warriors.

Iguodala back to the Warriors always seemed to make the most sense, given his familiarity with the fanbase, organization, and teammates. At the tail end of his illustrious career, he is doing whatever it takes to walk away with another NBA title, and the Warriors should be one of the favorites in the tough Western Conference.

Still, Iguodala is an absolute legend for putting Shams on blast as he did, and he is now officially a member of the Warriors once again.
