Before more people criticize him for his Game 1 performance in the NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green already predicted what they'll say and simply asked them to shut up.

Green had a rather forgettable performance during Thursday's 120-108 loss against the Celtics, as he fouled out and finished with just four points and five assists. He had 11 rebounds, but he also committed three turnovers and even failed to make even one of his four 3-point attempts.

Of course he expected to get mocked for his poor play, which is why he jumped ahead and told his haters that he already did what they would ask of him.

“Let me guess…. Go to the gym Draymond you suck? I’ve been there already! How about Go watch film y’all Took an L? did that last night and today and will watch more later… SHUT UP!!” the Warriors vet wrote on Twitter.

Draymond Green is certainly aware of his shortcomings, and clearly, he doesn't need any reminding of what he needs to do. He has been to the NBA Finals a lot of times not to know what is expected of him.

The Warriors forward also admitted on Friday that he “failed” Stephen Curry by not playing better. Curry had 34 points and got off to a scorching hot start, allowing the Dubs to have a 12-point lead heading to the fourth quarter of the contest. Unfortunately, the team collapsed and gave up their homecourt advantage.

With that said, Green promised to play better come Game 2.

“When I look back at the game, I failed him because I didn’t play well,” Green shared. “And when he comes out guns blazing like that, playing the way he’s playing, I have to make sure that I do my part to make sure that ends in a win.”
