Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, who has been relatively quiet as of late, went back to his old ways of hushing his haters.

In an Instagram story, Green reminded everyone that he can fill up the stat sheet with ease. The 30-year-old defensive player noted that he's going to be “back being that guy” in 2020-21.

For much of the entire 2019-20 season, the Warriors have been grilled for their mediocre performance. While Dubs fans understand what the team was going through, critics took it as an opportunity to lash out at the Steve Kerr-coached crew — particularly on Green, the only member of the Golden State core who has been relatively healthy.

Critics pointed out his subpar numbers (his “triple singles”), with some even re-evaluating his contribution in the Warriors' three titles over five years. While analysts said that Green's contributions don't necessarily show in the stat sheet, haters believe otherwise. They said that the former Defensive Player of the Year is not as productive as what these analysts say.

As expected, Green didn't back down. He has no qualms bringing his outspoken on-court persona off the court. Without hesitation, the Warriors forward answered back at his critics, reminding them that the 2019-20 season is just a minor setback.

When Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson come back healthy, the Warriors are predicted to be title contenders once again.

Unfortunately, the Warriors won't be one of the 22 teams set to return to action this 2019-20 campaign. Fans and critics, however, better believe that the team will be putting in the work this offseason.
