The Golden State Warriors caught fire on Monday night and they poured it all over a hapless Denver Nuggets side. The Dubs showcased their entire shooting repertoire in Game 2 and even Memphis Grizzlies superstar had to react to the onslaught.
All Morant could do was laugh as he watched the Warriors torch the Nuggets on Monday night:
Morant is right here and while we all know this fact to be true, this doesn't make watching them any less exciting.
The Dubs exploded for 44 points in the third period alone of Game 2 in order to build a huge lead over the Nuggets. Poole put on a show for the Dubs in this one, but Stephen Curry would not be outdone. The greatest shooter of all time came off the bench again but this did not stop him from pouring it on against Denver. Naturally, Klay Thompson had to join in on the party.
Interestingly enough, the winner of the Mavs-Nuggets series will advance to the second round to face either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Morant's Grizzlies. The Warriors and the Grizzlies are the favorites to advance and what a mouthwatering second-round matchup that would be.
