Stephen Curry just set an NBA Finals record in a scorching hot start for the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night. The Boston Celtics did not know what hit them as Steph drained no less than six triples in the first 12 minutes of action — a new NBA Finals record for most 3-pointers in a single quarter.

Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant was tuned in to the action and he could not help but react to Curry's dream start for the Warriors:

“steph locked,” Morant wrote in his tweet.

That's it. That's the entire tweet. Morant did not have to say much, but if you witnessed Curry's epic first quarter then you know that the Grizzlies star hit the nail on the head here. Steph was clearly feeling himself in the opening period and the Warriors' talisman was absolutely on fire.

In case you forgot, it was the Warriors who eliminated Morant and the Grizzlies in the second round of the playoffs. Ja was a first-hand witness of Curry's heroics during their series and I'm pretty sure he isn't too jealous about the Celtics' having to try and contain the greatest shooter of all time when he's on his game like this.
