According to an article published today by Logan Murdock of the Mercury News, Durant continued to show the highest amount of praise for the “Greek Freak” following Thursday's shootaround.

“It’s exciting for me to play one of the best players in the league,” Durant said of Antetokounmpo. “Someone who has ascended into that rank of being one of the best players in the league. I think his peers really enjoy playing with him because he brings that intensity.”

Durant’s utmost amount of respect for Giannis is just the latest from the 2017 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. Five months ago, Antetokounmpo’s name came up during a Q&A session on the Golden State forward's YouTube channel.

“The Greek Freak, I think, is a force. I’ve never seen anything like him,” Durant said. “His ceiling is probably … he could end up being the best player to ever play if he really wanted to. That’s pretty scary to think about. He’s by far my most favorite player to watch.”

Although Giannis has a lot of respect for Durant as well, he still has not been able to win against him in a head-t0-head matchup. Will he finally get it done tonight? Or will the Warriors turn up the heat with both Durant and star forward Draymond Green back in the lineup?
