The Golden State Warriors are champions once again as the dynasty lives on. They defeated the Boston Celtics on Thursday to clinch their fourth NBA Finals victory in the past eight years. Their core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have become extremely close over the years. All of them seem to enjoy playing under head coach Steve Kerr as well.

Thompson shared his feelings on his head coach following the Warriors victory:

“I won't play for another coach besides Steve,” Thompson declared.

Klay Thompson overcame the odds in 2022. The former All-Star missed the past two years due to multiple different injuries. There were times when his NBA career truly was in question. Although Thompson scored just 12 points in Game 6, he was vital to the Warriors' success this season. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green both stated that the team would not be where they are without his contributions.

As for Steve Kerr, he now has nine total championships rings to his credit. He won five of those as a player, and Thursday's victory represented his fourth NBA Finals win as a coach. There is no question that Kerr is making a strong bid for the Hall of Fame. It is no wonder why Thompson and the Warriors players seem to love playing for him. He is a proven winner.

Golden State has built one of the most impressive dynasties of all time. They will surely attempt to keep their core of Thompson, Curry, Green, and even Kerr together moving forward.

But for now, this is an organization that has every right to celebrate another Finals victory.
